Is today the day?

  

Is today the day? Is today the day you stop making excuses and start getting yourself into exceptional physical shape? 

Is today the day that you finally get out, find the gym and hammer out your workout? Is today the day that you finally hire that personal trainer to help you succeed? 

Is today the day that you realize that summertime is right around the bend and if you don’t start TODAY, you are going to have a very tough time achieving your physical goals? Is today the day that you start eating the right way, stop being a pig and fuel your body and mind with good food, and plenty of water? 

Is today the day that you stop whining about how tight your pants fit you and do something about it? Is today the day that you realize that you don’t want to be a fatal statistic and would rather control your own destiny?  

Is today the day that you stop complaining about how much your back hurts and do something about it? Is today the day that when you go to the gym you actually train hard instead of looking around and socializing? 

Is today the day that your realize your body does not respond the same way it did when you were 20 and eating like a gluttonous pig WILL cause you to gain weight? Is today the day that you start taking your fish oil capsules because you know you should? 

Is today the day that you realize you probably shouldn’t eat such big portions all day long and regain control of your diet (and life?) Is today the day that you seek out help or assistance with your fitness routine because you realize you really don’t know what you are doing? 

Is today the day that you stop getting your fitness education through Muscle and Fitness and FLEX magazines and start looking in the right places? Is today the day that you increase your weight on the bar, do an extra set, squeeze out and additional rep just because you don’t want to leave anything behind? 

Is today the day that you stop bitching about being tired all of the time and do something about it? Is today the day that you realize getting into good shape takes time and persistence and eventually you WILL get where you want to be? 

Is today the day that you stop thinking you are too old to start or too fat to succeed?  Is today the day that you realize that you cannot take care of others until you successfully take care of yourself? 

Is today the day that you finally plan your meals instead of letting life plan them for you? Is today the day that you realize physical pain is not a right of passage and you can find ways to feel good for once? 

Is today the day that you stop looking for the magical juice or special pill to help yor loose weight or make you strong and healthy? Is today the day that you stop saying that you are too busy with work to get a training session in? 

Is today the day that you decide to take your dog out for a walk because you know its good for the both of you? Is today the day that you stop weighing yourself excessively and start watching your waist line instead? 

Is today the day that you will fall asleep knowing that you couldn’t have pushed it any harder or worked anymore towards your fitness and health goals …only to get the best night’s sleep you have gotten in a long time? 

Is today that day?
